Shar is a Baloch tribe settled in the Sindh, Balochistan and Punjab provinces in Pakistan.
The great Baloch emperor Mir Chakar Khan Rind had a sister Jato who was married to his cousin Murad. The children of Jato and Murad are today's two major tribes, Shar and Jatoi. Shar tribe have Million of population in every part of Pakistan.very thickly populated area of Shar community District khairpur Mirs,Sanghar, Mirpurkhas, Umerkot Larkana, Ghotki, Shikarpur, Nawabshah and Sukkur, almost allover in Sindh.
